- I
have been the B-33 owner for the past 17 years and it has
been stored in a hanger at Whiteman Airport WHP,
- just
north of Los Angeles, California for the past 25 years or
so.
-
- The
debonair was brought to Beryl D'Shannons shop where
- the
IO-470K engine was removed, and a fresh IO-550 motor was
installed.
-
- Along
with the continental IO-550, the plane received a new 3
blade Scimitar propeller,
- chrome spinnerand
the D'Shannon baffle / motor cooling kit.
-
- The
plane was brought to Arizona where a beautiful
application of pearl paint was used to give the plane a
special sporty look.
-
- The
20 gallon each tip tanks were custom made by Osborne and
feature unique trailing edge fins.
-
- Total
fuel capacity is 90 gallons, fuel valving allows the
motor to run on both tip tanks, 1 tip tank, left or right
main tank
- The
fusealge of the plane has been upgraded with F-33 air
inlets, long tailcone, flap and gap seal, large baggage
door
- large
third window, speed slope windshield, and new thicker
D'Shannon glass

- Electronics
include; digital EGT / CHT gauge, King slaved HSI,
coupled s-tec autopilot system,
- King KX-155 radios, King
GPSShadin
fuel totalizer, Manual (and auto) ELT, Davtron clock,
- Built in push to talks, ADF, DME, and CD (6 changer)
stereo.
-
- Also
incuded is a throw over control arm, and duel yoke
assembly.
- The plane also features duel rudder controls
- (both
pilot and co-pilot sides), and brakes. Rosen sunvisors,
and thermal sun shades for the windows.
-
- Along
with the plane will go the bose and David clark headsets,
- hand held radio / gps and any other extras
I find in the hanger.
-
- TT
is about 5,000 hours, TT on motor is about 1,200,
